Dear Stover Families,

The beginning of a new school year is always filled with excitement, hope, and endless possibilities. Our faculty and staff have spent the summer preparing classrooms, planning engaging learning experiences, and getting everything ready to welcome our Tigers back. We are excited to begin another year of learning, growth, and celebration with your family.

At Leslie M. Stover Middle School, everything we do is centered around our school motto:

We believe in every student and the unique strengths they bring to our school community. We know that when students believe in themselves, work hard, and persevere through challenges, achievement follows. Success is built one day, one choice, and one opportunity at a time.

Our students are encouraged each day to live out our PROWL expectations both inside and outside the classroom. As students demonstrate these positive behaviors, they are recognized and celebrated through our PBIS Tiger Celebrations classroom acknowledgements, special incentive events, and other opportunities that recognize character, leadership, citizenship, and academic achievement. We believe that recognizing students for making positive choices helps build a culture where every Tiger has the opportunity to thrive.

Middle school is a time for discovering new interests, building lasting friendships, developing confidence, and preparing for future success. Our commitment is to provide every student with a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment where they are challenged academically while also growing socially and emotionally.

Families are an important part of that journey. Your partnership, encouragement, and involvement play a vital role in your child's success. Together, we can create an environment where students are supported, inspired, and empowered to reach their fullest potential.

As we begin this new school year, I encourage every student to arrive each day ready to learn, ready to lead, and ready to make a positive difference.
