Eighth graders recently enjoyed trench warfare day. St. Pierre discussed the history of the military in WWI and what life would have been like on the frontlines. Students were able to try on various military uniforms and equipment provided by Mr. St. Pierre and Mr. Seymour. For the assignment, students had to create a soldier and interview others to see the similarities and differences with their experiences. Mr. St. Pierre ended with explaining the various parts of the US Army uniforms and how they are currently evolving.  Check out Stover's facebook page for more pictures.

Congratulations to Dr. Zimmer who has been named  the South Carolina Alliance of Black School Educators 2025-2026 Middle School Principal of the Year!   

Thank you to our Stover PTO for a fun filled week of goodies for Teacher Appreciation Week!  From fresh flowers, leis, nacho bar, food truck fare, salad bar, and sno cones it was a week to remember!!  There was even a hunt and find throughout the week that featured fun prizes! 

Happy Nurses Appreciation Day to our wonderful nursing staff, Mrs. Handley and Mrs. Christman. Thank you for everything you do for our school!

Join us for an awards ceremony celebrating our 8th grade class on May 21 beginning at 9:00am.  8th grade students will receive four guest tickets.  

Rising 6th graders for year 2025-2026 parents make plans to attend the Parent Orientation Night on May 14 from 6pm to 7pm in the Stover cafeteria.
